Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) Panel
An Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) Panel is an essential electrical control mechanism that takes care of the continuous power supply by automatically switching the power supply system to an alternate power supply system, a standby generator. It is extensively employed in industrial, commercial, and home applications where the continuity of power is important.

AMF Panels also known as Automatic Mains Failure Panels. We are engaged in manufacturing & supplying a huge range of Automatic Power Distribution Systems for the distribution and control of voltage & reactive power of the power system. We also offer Automatic Power Factor Correction (APFC) Panels, Power Control Center (PCC) Panels, Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) Panel, Motor Control Center (MCC) Panel, Power Distribution Board, etc. When indefinite automatic failure occurrence so these Power Distribution Panels are used in sugar mills, cement industry, textile industry, power, iron & steel industry, etc. We also offer customized solutions in various configurations at the best price!
Key Functions of an AMF Panel
Power Failure Detection
The AMF panel keeps examining the mains supply. In the event of a power outage, it automatically activates the generator.
Auto-Generate Start/Stop
On detecting a failure in the mains, the panel activates the standby generator. Once the main supply is reinstated, it will shut down the generator and reconnect to the mains supply.
Seamless Transfer of Load
The panel provides the seamless transfer of the electrical load between the mains and the generator and vice versa without any manual operation to reduce downtime.
Protection & Safety Features
AMF panels have some of the most important protection features that include overload protection, short-circuit protection, and phase failure, which ensure that the generator and equipment are safe.
Components
Microcontroller/Relay Control System: To use in automatic monitoring and switching.
Changeover Switch (ATS – Automatic Transfer Switch): Switches load between mains and generator.
Monitoring Meters: Voltage, current, and frequency meters. Voltage, current, and frequency meters that are real-time monitors.
Alarm Systems: To notify of generator faults or low fuel, or high temperatures.
Circuit Breakers/Contactors: Safely distribute power and protect.
Applications
Industrial plants that must have constant production without failure of power.
Medical institutions and hospitals in which critical equipment works.
Information rooms and information technologies to avoid information loss.
Offices, residential, and commercial buildings.
Telecommunication transmissions and emergency services.
Benefits
Continuous Power: There is no need for manual operation in case of power failures.
Time- and labor-saving: Automates the whole process of power switching.
Improved Equipment Protection: prevents generator overload and electricity faults.
Efficient and Reliable: Provides a smooth operation of the priority applications.
